ZeroWait

Privacy Policy

Last updated: [DATE]

This policy explains how ZeroWaitAI ("ZeroWait", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit our website, ask for a demo, or when a business uses ZeroWait to talk to its customers on WhatsApp. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Who we are

ZeroWaitAI, Gurgaon, Haryana, India. Email: hello@zerowaitai.com.

Two roles we play

For our own website and sales: we decide how your data is used, so we are the Data Fiduciary.

For our business customers: when a clinic, salon or other business uses ZeroWait, that business decides why its customers' data is processed. The business is the Data Fiduciary and we process the data on its behalf as a Data Processor, under a written agreement.

What we collect

We ask businesses not to collect sensitive details such as medical history through ZeroWait beyond what is needed to book an appointment.

Why we use it

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Consent and opting out

We process data on the basis of consent or for the purpose a person gave it to us, such as asking for an appointment. Customers can reply STOP on WhatsApp at any time to stop reminders and follow-ups. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect processing that already happened.

Who we share it with

How long we keep it

We keep booking data only as long as the business needs it to provide its service, and for no more than [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 12 months] after the last appointment, unless the law requires longer. Demo request details are deleted within [PERIOD] if you don't become a customer.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable security safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted access and regular reviews. If a personal data breach happens, we will inform affected people and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, correct or update it, delete it, or name someone to exercise your rights if you are unable to. You can also raise a grievance with us. If you are a customer of a business that uses ZeroWait, you can contact that business or us.

Children

ZeroWait is meant for adults. Where a booking is made for a child, it should be made by a parent or guardian.
